3D Printers Used by the Model3DBiology Development Team

From conception, the Model3DBiology Development Team (MDT) envisioned creating and integrating biology curriculum in ways to engage students with 3D Printing without getting bogged down in 3D printer issues, but with more focus on the planning, 3D model creation as outcomes of satisfying 3D printing experience.  We can say, it was our experience, that Dremel has provided reliable 3D Printed tools and has allowed MDT to successfully complete all of the initial goals of the project.  We initially utilized the 3D20, moved to both, the 3D40-EDU and the 3D45 3D Printers.  As you explore this website, you will find many printed models from PDB's website successfully printed a large number of models representing accurate molecular representations that students can paint, learn from and explore.
