What is a Learning Team?

A Learning Team is a contract between students and your instructor to complete a student-led project that explores the molecular aspects of Biology through a 3D printed model. The 3D model is generated through a collaborative and creative team effort that leads to a presentation, a paper, and a competition.

This challenge will be performed as an Honors or Certificate of Completion project and upon successful completion, each team member will receive a special recognition on your transcript.

Now it's time to connect and collaborate with your Learning Team members and determine your next steps. Think about how you will connect (in person or online), when you will connect, what tools you want to use, and how best to stay on track to meet your deadlines.

Use your information to rely on each other to create a great scientific work product to share with others and to be posted on the NIH 3D Website, showcased and, if you choose, to enter it in a model building competition held at your school's model building competition.
